Overview
As the name suggests, The Cottage in the Wood is a charming restaurant with rooms perched 1,000ft up in the Whinlatter Forest, just above Keswick, and surrounded by picturesque scenery. Imaginative cuisine is served in the conservatory restaurant, and drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace during the summer. Expect warm hospitality from Beth, Jack and their team, as well as relaxed yet professional and attentive service. Bedrooms are comfortable and come in a range of sizes.

  Woodland scenery - A wonderful elevated setting overlooking the forest.
  A special dinner - A beautiful, imaginative tasting menu which features wonderful produce.
  Cup of tea? - Relax around the fire in the recently redecorated & cosy lounge.
  Comfy rooms - Most in the cottage itself and there is also one garden room.
  A fantastic team - Guided by Beth and Jack
