The Poltimore Inn★★★★
"Welcoming countryside inn with handsome lodges and its own observatory."
Overview
The Poltimore Inn is a great village pub at the heart of the community with a very friendly and welcoming team. The bar area comes complete with dart board, pool table and wood burning stove, while the menu features pub classics, alongside exciting specials and superb views across the rolling Devon hills, notably from the new outside terrace. Traditionally styled bedrooms are located in the main pub, or alternatively a number of lodges are located behind the pub in a landscaped garden, each with its own separate entrance and more great views. One unique feature is a state of the art observatory which guests are welcome to use.
