The Great House★★★
"Carefully restored Tudor house with a contemporary outlook."
Overview
This 15th-century Grade II listed building has been lovingly restored and retains a wealth of original features; it is believed to have been a gift from Elizabeth I to the Earl of Leicester. The Great House’s contemporary feel is contemporary and the restaurant serves locally sourced quality ingredients with care and innovation. The bedrooms are spread between the main house and cottages in the grounds.
