Kingfisher Caravan Park★★★★
"Well-designed grounds and lake are a magnet for wildlife."
Overview
Kingfisher Caravan Park is a large grassy site set in wooded, rural countryside with two beautiful lakes on its grounds. There is a small woodland path to walk dogs, who are welcome here. Whilst Harrogate, Fountains Abbey and York are within easy reach, visitors can, if they wish, just relax and enjoy the increasing variety of wildlife that can be seen here. The park has well-appointed holiday statics, caravan pitches, as well as a separate flat tenting field with electric hook-ups.

About the area
North Yorkshire, with its two National Parks and two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is England’s largest county and one of the most rural. This is prime walking country, from the heather-clad heights of the North York Moors to the limestone country that is so typical of the Yorkshire Dales – a place of contrasts and discoveries, of history and legend.
