Overview
Dating from the 17th-century, the Chequers Inn enjoys a peaceful, rural location beside the common. Bedrooms are modern and stylish in their design, and very comfortably appointed with high quality decor and furnishings. The bar has a massive oak post, beams and flagstone floors, while the brasserie-style restaurant offers some excellent dishes.
