Overview
Dating back to the mid-19th century, this characterful country house has a long and interesting family history and provides a combination of original features and modern facilities. Bedrooms, including four-poster and family rooms, are richly furnished; many have views of the Cleveland Hills. Throughout the hotel, open fires, elegant day rooms and rich appointment ensure a warm and welcoming feel. Chaloner's Restaurant offers more formal dining whilst De Brus Bar & Grill has a more relaxed menu and atmosphere. The Drawing Room serves afternoon teas and drinks from "The Safe". Extensive function and wedding facilities complete the package, and the Sakura Spa is set to open mid-2026.

Historical house - A wonderful Victorian manor, with the estate dating back much further.
Impressive location - On the northern edge of the Moors, lots of attractions on the doorstep.
Good food - Superb choice here - fine dining in Chaloner's or relaxed in De Brus.
Luxury accommodation - Superb rooms, some more traditional with four-poster rooms available.
The Safe - Originally the muniment room for the estate deeds, now a fine bar.
