"A hotel with heart and soul."
Overview
Close to Bath, Homewood has a peaceful location, magnificent views across the rolling Somerset hills and an abundance of attractive parkland. Art and design take centre stage, colourful interiors and quirky art installations and topiary are a feature. Guests will enjoy dining outdoors on the delightful terrace or in the small marquee which rolls through various culinary guises, and relaxing in sumptuous lounges. Bedrooms are stylishly appointed and carry both quality and a sense of fun. The spa and leisure facilities are notable, and a meal in the Olio restaurant should not be missed. With an unstuffy vibe, families and guests with dogs are particularly welcome.

About the area
Somerset remains rural and unspoiled, and ever popular areas to visit are the limestone and red sandstone Mendip Hills rising to over 1,000 feet, and by complete contrast, to the south and southwest, the flat landscape of the Somerset Levels. Another popular spot, the Quantocks, once the haunt of poets Coleridge and Wordsworth, are noted for their gentle slopes, heather-covered moorland expanses and red deer.
