Llanerch Vineyard★★★★
"A unique stay in the heart of a Welsh vineyard, relax and unwind."
Overview
The hotel is delightfully part of a working vineyard with views over the vines and the countryside beyond. Wine is naturally a central focus here with many of the vineyards own wines and those from surrounding lands featured on the list and available to purchase in the small shop area. Tastings and tours are also part of the experience here. Bedrooms and bathrooms come in a range of shapes and sizes including sumptuously appointed suites in the main building. The Roots Restaurant is open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, with outdoor seating on the terrace in the warmer months.

About the area
Stretching 14 miles on the coastline of south Wales, Glamorgan Heritage Coast was one of Britain’s first designated heritage coastlines. The project, launched in 1973, covers a 14-mile stretch of coastline incorporating Porthcawl (in neighbouring Bridgend), Dunraven Park, Monknash Coast, St Donats, Summerhouse Point and the cheerful beach holiday resort of Barry Island.
