Overview
Set in the heart of Settle’s 17th-century market place, this inn's interior oozes history and atmosphere, with original inglenook fireplaces, wooden floors and a grand staircase lined with pictures that trace the town’s history. Expect decent cask ales and a classic pub menu offering freshly prepared favourites. Typical examples include devilled whitebait; venison cottage pie; and the ever-popular Settle pudding of beef steak and Thwaites ale. There's a beer festival in September.
