Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot

Overview
This attractive mill, with Dutch-style conical, pantiled roof, is the oldest working water-driven meal mill to survive in Scotland, and was last used commercially in 1959. In the visitor centre there is an exhibition which details the life and work of the miller. Nearby is the charming Phantassie Doocot (dovecote), built for 500 pigeons.
