Madame Tussauds

Overview
Madame Tussaud's world-famous wax figure collection was founded in Paris in 1770. It moved to England in 1802 and found a permanent home in London's Marylebone Road in 1884. The 21st century has brought new innovations and new levels of interactivity. The collection is divided into sections, including a Hollywood/Bollywood red carpet area; stars from the classic age of Hollywood; stars of field, track and pool; figures from history including kings, queens, politicians and world leaders; and music stars like The Beatles and Bob Marley. There is also a Scream section which includes a 'haunted house' area that has real actors intent on scaring you, and a collection of horrific figures from the past like Dr Crippen and Vlad the Impaler. There are also '4D' experiences, one which involves a taxi ride through the history of London and another which pits Marvel superheroes against Dr Doom's robot army in a 3D movie with added physical effects.
