Overview
The new Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery uses a 'variety show' to inspire you to think about our heritage. Contemporary artists will help. Throughout the galleries there is fine art from the collections which reflect the periods and themes explored. There is an ambitious contemporary art programme leading up to the Museum’s opening. This project has delivered a range of artists' commissions, new museum displays, special exhibitions, events, education and participatory activities.
