Overview
Remote, quiet and Dark Sky-friendly (but with no mobile signal, Kielder Campsite is the remotest such site in England. The forest provides the opportunity for long, peaceful walks, long cycle rides, and there’s a dog-friendly pub and tea rooms at Kielder Castle. Wonderfully clear views of the night sky require a low-light policy as Kielder Observatory is also nearby.
