Overview
As you pull into The Star Inn look at the walls, which are covered in pargeting, an East Anglian style of building decoration. The secluded park is popular with walkers, bird-watchers and country lovers generally. Due south is the once-famous oyster port of Burnham-on-Crouch, from where a summer-only ferry takes you across to Wallasea Island and its RSPB reserve.
