Overview
With its oak beams, exposed brick walls and dark slate tiles, this stone-built Peak District inn retains bags of original character. Overlooked by lowering gritstone outcrops, it offers light bar meals and a carvery as well as a seasonal menu that makes the most of regional ingredients. From the open kitchen, expect contemporary dishes with plenty of creativity.
