Cloisters restaurant is in the modern part of GreyFriars Hotel, which was once a Franciscan monastery. Parquet floored with an art deco feel, it's known for modern European dishes with a British touch. Local produce is a big feature, including oysters from Mersea Island, which is only nine miles away.
