"Riverside setting and cracking local food."
Overview
If you’re already liking the sound of a former coaching inn beside the River Coln, then throw in the proposition of welcoming service and British cooking with a European accent, and the brasserie of the Swan Hotel is a shoo-in. Hearty, no-nonsense cooking is the deal; especially hard to resist is local Bibury trout fresh from the river.

About the area
Gloucestershire is home to a variety of landscapes, including the Cotswolds, a region of gentle hills, valleys and gem-like villages that roll through the county. To their west is the Severn Plain, watered by Britain’s longest river and characterised by orchards and farms marked out by hedgerows that blaze with mayflower in the spring; beyond the Severn are the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley
