Fields End Water Caravan Park & Fishery★★★★★
"Fine park with fully serviced pitches on terraced areas offering great views"
Overview
This meticulously planned and well-executed park makes excellent use of its slightly elevated position in The Fens. The 80 fully serviced pitches, all with very generous hardstandings, are on smart terraces with sweeping views of the countryside. The toilet block contains several combined cubicle spaces. The 'Camping Corner' comprises three astro turf tent pitches in a segregated section of The Paddock. There are shady walks through mature deciduous woodland adjacent to a large and appealingly landscaped fishing lake where there is also a really good lakeside café/bar. A separate, well-designed area has 20 fully serviced pitches and four en suite camping pods around a lake. A footbridge across the lake links one side with the excellent facilities block which has fully serviced cubicles and underfloor heating.

About the area
To the west of East Anglia is Cambridgeshire, a county best known as the home to the university that makes up the second half of ‘Oxbridge’ (the other half is Oxford). As well as its globally renowned educational credentials, it also has a rich natural history; much of its area is made up of reclaimed or untouched fens.
