Overview
A modern Roman Catholic cathedral which provides a focal point on the Liverpool skyline. The imposing structure of concrete ribs and coloured glass was designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd and consecrated in 1967. Monumental crypt of brick and granite by Sir Edwin Lutyens 1933. Numerous modern works of art.
