Overview
Part of the spectacular chalk cliffs that stretch from Flamborough Head to Speeton. This is one of the best sites in England to see thousands of nesting seabirds including gannets and puffins at close quarters. Viewpoints overlook over 2 miles of chalk cliffs rising to 400ft with numerous cracks and ledges. Around 500,000 seabirds nest on these cliffs including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, fulmars and herring gulls. This is the only mainland gannetry in England and is growing annually. Many migrants pass off-shore including terns, skuas and shearwaters. Wheatears, ring ouzels and a wide variety of warblers frequent the cliff top on migration.
