"Unique luxury with award-winning spa and wellness facilities"
Overview
Calcot & Spa was a homely former farmhouse but is an impressive estate with award winning spa and wellness facilities, extensive rewilded areas, walks and a real sense of getting away from it all. No two rooms are identical, and each is beautifully decorated and equipped with modern comforts. Sumptuous sitting rooms, with crackling log fires in the winter, look out over immaculate gardens. The main dining option is in the unfussy Brasserie whilst all day grazing, cocktails and more are available in The (buzzy) Hive. Over in the spa, indulgent treatments and relaxation are the order of the day while The Grain Store, a state-of-the-art fitness sanctuary is also available with its own cafe. For children, a supervised crèche and 'playzone' are a real bonus for families.

About the area
Gloucestershire is home to a variety of landscapes, including the Cotswolds, a region of gentle hills, valleys and gem-like villages that roll through the county. To their west is the Severn Plain, watered by Britain’s longest river and characterised by orchards and farms marked out by hedgerows that blaze with mayflower in the spring; beyond the Severn are the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.
