Overview
Located in the historic village of Hodnet, The Bear Inn is a lovingly restored, former coaching inn. The interior retains many original features with quality, furnishings, artwork and decor alongside open fires. Locally sourced food is imaginatively presented and a lighter choice is available throughout the day. Bedrooms have also been refurbished to a very high standard with decor styles, period furnishings and great beds complemented by smart efficient bathrooms. A warm welcome is assured.

  Good location - Picturesque village, great for exploring local attractions, like Hodnet Hall.
  Alfresco areas - Attractive outdoor space, with some covered booth areas.
  Characterful building - Former coaching inn, many original features, bold decor and memorable artwork.
  Sumptuous bedrooms - High quality interior design, deeply comfortable beds.
  High quality menus - The team grow fruit and veg in the 200-year-old walled garden of Hodnet Hall.
