Overview
Once a coaching inn dating from the 16th century, the Bear retains many original features including exposed beams and wall timbering, all enhanced by imported, aged Indian floor tiling. Stylish decor and eclectic original art is matched by period furnishing and artefacts. The menu is mostly modern British with international influences, and great emphasis is placed on flavour balance and presentation.
