"Rural site with superb views and a wide range of options."
Overview
Burns Farm Caravan, Camping & Glamping is situated in the heart of Cumbria and is a rural Lakeland site situated on a working farm surrounded by picturesque views. Its location, just three miles east of Keswick, makes it the perfect destination for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet. The luxurious wooden cabins are a highlight here, and offer the highest glamping quality and comfort; all are en suite and have private outside areas with bubbling hot tubs. Cosy bell tents are also available in a separate field. The campsite itself is more traditional and is divided into different sections with two non-electric tent fields (choice of dog-free or dog-friendly) and two additional sections with hardstanding, fully serviced caravan pitches. The shower block is modern, stylish and also offers seven private bathrooms (including two that are accessible). The on-site shop stocks a good range of local produce while the café offers refreshments and pizzas. There are charging lockers for phones and bike batteries, and you will find three pubs in the village of Threlkeld, located only a mile away.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills.
