"Classic dishes on the high street."
Overview
The Fig Tree has a discreet high street frontage, with seating on the terrace for warmer days. The arched windows let plenty of light into the simple uncluttered interior, where the white-painted walls are half panelled in green tongue and groove. The straightforward modern British dishes with clear roots in French classics are well worth tracking down.
