This hotel, restaurant and pub, between Aldeburgh and Southwold, has its roots in the 12th century. 'Hearty yet sophisticated' cooking is the kitchen's aim and ambition doesn't falter among puddings: expect chocolate and pistachio cake with chocolate sorbet and cherries.
