"A beautiful building that serves as both a museum and wedding venue."
Overview
Boston Guildhall, built in the 1390s, is a testament to the wealth and influence of the Guild of St Mary at a time when Boston's power as a centre of trade was second only to London. This wonderfully preserved building has survived centuries and is to be enjoyed as one of Boston's finest visitor attractions. The Guildhall is home to the town's museum collections and is a stunning venue for wedding ceremonies and private functions.

About the area
Much of the fenland around the Wash has been drained of its marshes and reclaimed as highly productive farmland. Further north, the coastline, with its sandy beaches, has been developed to accommodate the holiday industry, with caravans, campsites and the usual seaside paraphernalia.
