Overview
Matlock Farm Park is a family-friendly farm park set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, offering a fun-filled day out with interactive animal experiences, play areas and seasonal events. Visitors can meet and feed a wide variety of animals including llamas, alpacas, Highland cattle, meerkats, wallabies and reptiles, enjoy guided talks, sheep and ferret races, pony rides and riding school activities, plus explore indoor and outdoor play spaces such as the Enchanted Hamlet. With accessible facilities, a cosy café and plenty of opportunities to relax and make lasting memories, Matlock Farm Park is open daily from 10am year-round, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

About the area
The natural features of this central English county range from the modest heights of the Peak District National Park, where Kinder Scout stands at 2,088 ft (636 m), to the depths of its remarkable underground caverns, floodlit to reveal exquisite Blue John stone. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the High Peak Trail which extends from the Derwent Valley to the limestone plateau near Buxton, and for many, the spectacular scenery is what draws them to the area.
