Overview

The Three Fishes’ style is somewhere between an inn and a brasserie. One room looks out onto the terrace, garden and sheep in the field beyond. Service is quite formal, but in a relaxed setting. The modern British menu evolves with the seasons, using veg and herbs from their big kitchen garden and polytunnel.

Lancashire was at the centre of the British cotton industry in the 19th century, which lead to the urbanization of great tracts of the area. The cotton boom came and went, but the industrial profile remains.
