The Royal Wells★★★★
"A fine inn that played host to Princess Victoria on many occasions."
Overview
In an elevated position at the top of Mount Ephraim, yet a short stroll from Tunbridge Wells centre, The Royal Wells is a grand old Victorian building visited by Queen Victoria when she was just a princess. The grand facade is a delight and many period features have been preserved within. Bedrooms come in all shapes and sizes, all done out in smart contemporary style and well equipped with large comfy beds, with en suite bathroom facilities, Freeview television, tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso coffee machines and luxurious H2k toiletries. There's also free WiFi access. The Brasserie serves up tasty comfort-oriented dishes built on fresh produce, and there's a choice of two bar areas, each with its own style and character.
