Overview
Skof is chef Tom Barnes’s first solo venture in his native Manchester. Set in a former textile warehouse, the place wears its industrial heritage proudly in bare brickwork and girders, along with a sense of luxury and quality. There’s no formality here – the team are all thoroughly well versed but keep things casual. A hearty, homely feel underpins the cuisine, which also exemplifies the precision, technique and lightness of touch of its lineage (Barnes was formerly head chef at l'Enclume and Rogan & Co).
