Overview
Within easy access of the A1 and A19, this grade-II listed pub is located in the heart of the town centre. Bedrooms are located in the old coach house, some accessed via a cast iron walkway. One even has its own garden with sauna and hot tub. The pig-themed restaurant serves food all day. Duck confit; white crab and avocado salad, and venison burger are typical dishes. The wine list is extensive and there’s a great selection of local real ales.
