Overview
Secluded but convenient for the A90, this charming pub retains much of its character from when it was a drovers’ stop-over. Three shapely dormer windows project from its slate roof and there’s an attractive vaulted interior. The bar’s regularly changing real ales might include Northern Light from Orkney, while a fine collection of malts waits alongside. A typical meal might start with Arbroath smokie tartlet and continue with pan-roasted loin of venison.
