"Enjoyable modern food in a picture postcard setting."
Overview
A short drive from Bedford and Northampton, The Oakley Arms is a charming 400-year-old village inn complete with thatched roof and low ‘mind your head’ ceilings. White walls and simple tableware add to the informality, as do the locals in the bar and the friendly staff. Seasonal British dishes and pub classics display sound technique and balanced flavours.

About the area
At its most southern point, Bedfordshire is only 35 miles from London Waterloo, so there’s a good reason for the UK’s fifth busiest airport to be called London Luton Airport. The county is one of England’s smaller in terms of area, but more than makes up for it in terms of business HQs and visitor attractions
