"Innovative cooking in a bucolic setting."
Overview
Woven by Adam Smith is set within Coworth Park, a Georgian mansion surrounded by 240 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland including private polo lawns. Inspired by nature, the dining room is a sumptuous space in calming autumnal shades of apricot and gold, with bespoke art including an impressive plaster relief of root vegetables. A meal here is certainly a theatrical experience – the seasonal menus take diners on a mesmerising journey, where dishes tell a story using top produce and reflect great attention to detail. Diners can see the snacks about to be served at the beginning of the meal being prepared as they arrive. Show more

About the area
Berkshire consists of two distinct parts: the western half, which is predominantly rural, with the Lambourn Downs spilling down to the River Lambourn and the Berkshire Downs to the majestic Thames, and the eastern half of Berkshire, which offers plenty of opportunity to get out and savour open spaces. Reading and Newbury are the county’s major towns, and the River Kennet flows through them both
