Overview
A great place to watch the sun go down, 36 on the Quay is a charming 17th-century building with far-reaching views across the harbour. A long-running restaurant-with-rooms, the courtyard is a delightful setting for a drink before a meal in the light-filled dining room. The menus deliver modern renditions of classic dishes, with tasting menus available at both lunch and dinner. Roasted scallops, XO sauce, passionfruit and sesame might be followed by veal fillet, sweetbread, BBQ celeriac, onion, and truffle.
