The Gatsby
"Contemporary cooking in stylish old cinema."
Overview
This modern, split-level brasserie is located on the ground floor of the art deco Rex cinema and it’s a lovely setting with a pianist at the white baby grand and an abundance of period detail including pillars and ornate ceiling friezes. An Italian influence runs through the modern European menu.

About the area
As Hertfordshire is so close to London, many of its towns have become commuter havens. St Albans, less than 19 miles (30km) from the capital, has retained its distinctive character, along with many historic remains
