Overview
On the southern side of the island, the White Lion is a renovated traditional village inn with a kind-of contemporary farmhouse ambience. Inside are stone or tongue and groove clad walls in pale greens and cream, and a choice of dining areas. Modern British menus are well balanced and use seasonal ingredients sourced from the local area.
