Overview

A spectacular space with opulent plasterwork, vast gold chandeliers and walls lined with artwork, this palatial eatery is most untavern-like despite its name. Jason Atherton oversees the cooking, which is in his contemporary brasserie style. Restyled British classics such as lobster and prawn cocktail are backed up by a notable wine list.
