Overview

China Tang is an opulent homage to 1930s Shanghai, with smart carpets, upholstery and wallpaper, that elevates classic Cantonese cuisine to a higher level. Remember, this is The Dorchester, so don't expect normal high-street prices. Familiar-sounding, nevertheless, are dim sum, vegetarian soups, roast duck mixed platter, and Szechuan peppercorn-braised Dover sole. Vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options are all available.
