Roka Charlotte Street
"Precision Japanese robatayaki cooking in Fitzrovia."
Overview
A veteran of the Fitzrovia foodie strip since 2004, the Roka Charlotte Street outpost of the global Roka brand still delivers the goods with its effortlessly cool, sleek, timber-inspired good looks and contemporary Japanese robatayaki cooking. There’s a real buzz around the flaming robata grill, where chefs deliver a tantalising fusion of modern and classic dishes of punchy flavours, precision execution and artful presentation. The signature black cod timed to perfection on the robata with the hit of yuzu miso is hard to resist, as is a dessert of dark chocolate and green tea pudding teamed with crunchy jivara chocolate and pear ice cream. The Shochu Lounge with inventive Japanese cocktails rounds off a class act.
