Overview
If you’re looking for a luxurious bolthole with top-drawer dining, the Restaurant at Isle of Eriska is pretty special. Built in Victorian Baronial style in 1884, the hotel has an unforgettable setting on a private island, with acres of grounds, shoreline and glorious views across Loch Linnhe, plus spa and leisure facilities. The restaurant keeps things traditional, with oak panelling and comfy seating, and the kitchen’s modern British cooking is grounded in abundant regional ingredients. Chicken and foie gras terrine with grelot onion and fig opens in country house mode, followed by wild halibut with caramelised onion and roasted salsify.
