The Dairy★★★★★
"A fantastic landscape to explore"
Overview
You’ll find The Dairy near the northern end of Coniston Water on the Atkinson Ground Estate. Professionally interior-designed, the cottage is close to all the village’s amenities. The mountain to the west is The Old Man of Coniston, whose well-marked path to the summit rewards the climber with – fingers crossed – a fabulous view.

About the area
Cumbria's rugged yet beautiful landscape is best known for the Lake District National Park that sits within its boundaries. It’s famous for Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, and Derwent Water, ‘Queen of the English Lakes', but other lesser-known areas in the south, such as the Lune Valley and the coastal towns, are secret gems of wide cobbled streets and rolling hills
