Coot – Daisy Broad★★★★
Overview
Coot is one of four beautifully converted Norfolk Broads cottages, thoughtfully built on the riverbank where old boatyard sheds once stood. With its peaceful waterside setting, private garden and easy access to the river, Coot is an excellent choice for families, couples or groups looking to enjoy a relaxing break on the Broads. Guests can fish directly from the garden, unwind on the private deck, or enjoy the surrounding scenery from the first-floor balcony. A day boat is included free of charge outside school holidays, offering the perfect way to explore the Broads at your own pace. There is also an on-site canoe, rowing boat and paddleboard available for hire. Coot is just a five-minute walk from the centre of Wroxham, where you’ll find a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés, gift shops and takeaways. The property sits beside two other waterside holiday homes—Grebe and Heron—and features an adjoining door to Grebe, allowing both cottages to be booked together for groups of up to 16 guests. 2 well-behaved pets are welcome (charges apply), and the cottage is fitted with modern comforts throughout to ensure a relaxing and memorable stay.

About the area
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea
