"The charming outdoor areas benefit from a unique riverside setting."
Overview
The River House is a charming riverside cottage at Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads. The comfortable two-storey, three bedroom, holiday let/rental home is set on the banks of the River Thurne in the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park. The garden abuts the river which runs the entire length of the house, with seating on the riverside lawn, a raised veranda, and a gravelled side patio area with more outdoor seating and BBQ. The gardens and veranda provide a great vantage point to enjoy the ever-changing view while you relax by the river. Less than 100 metres (110 yds) away there's a free parking available on road, as well as the option to park in a private pre paid car park (not more than 200 metres (220 yds) away).

About the area
The North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and probably the finest of its kind in Europe. Here you’ll find a string of quaint villages and small towns – Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley next the Sea are 21st-century favourites, while Sheringham and Cromer are classic examples of a good old-fashioned seaside resort where grand Victorian hotels look out to sea
