The Courtyard at Stowlangtoft Estate has four beautiful country retreats, along with the Dark Horse event space; the perfect choice for family holidays, reunions, special celebrations and wedding guest accommodation. The cottages are surrounded by glorious, rolling Suffolk countryside and are conveniently located just off the A14. All recently and immaculately refurbished, the cottages and The Dark Horse form part of the beautiful Stowlangtoft Hall Stable Courtyard redevelopment project. Stowlangtoft Hall was built in 1859 in the Italian style of architecture and was first occupied by the Maitland Wilson family. The Dark Horse offers a beautiful room where you can gather to eat together, with cosy seating areas and a bar. There is also a catering kitchen, and a list of caterers can be provided for you to contact. Families with young children will find the Coach House and Amherst House ideally laid out and well equipped with a children’s play area, football pitch, woodland walk and huge outside area with stunning views. The cottages are available to rent individually, or as The Courtyard at Stowlangtoft Estate year-round. If you are a larger group, further accommodation can be provided, if available, for up to 35 guests, in Stearn Cottage and The Shooting Lodge. The Courtyard is pet friendly, allowing up to two pets per cottage for a small additional fee and there are two hot tubs that can be added as an optional extra.
