Fursdon
Overview
Fursdon House and Gardens are open to day visitors on specific afternoons between Easter and the end of September. Set in the glorious Devon countryside Fursdon has evolved from a modest cob and thatch dwelling to an elegant manor house, and has been the home of the Fursdon family for seven centuries. On an informal guided tour you will learn about local history and see family memorabilia, furniture and paintings as well as an intimate family museum. The picturesque gardens and grounds are perfect for a leisurely stroll, and afternoon teas are served in the Coach Hall tea room on days when the gardens are open. Groups are welcome by arrangement.
