Overview
Greenway House re-opened in 2009 after a major restoration project. Pre-booking for car parking is essential. This is a unique and magical property with its many collections, including archaeology, Tunbridgeware, silver, botanical china and books. The atmospheric house set in the 1950s, and the glorious woodland garden with its wild edges and rare plantings, all allow a glimpse into the private holiday home of the famous and well-loved author, Agatha Christie, and her family. Enjoy the adventure of arriving here by ferry alighting at Greenway Quay, with dramatic views of the house from the river. Greenway is not easily accessible having some steep and slippery paths. All visitors are asked to wear walking shoes and to follow routes and directions according to their suitability on the day.
