Berrington Hall
Overview
An elegant neo-classical house of the late 18th century, designed by Henry Holland and set in a park landscape by 'Capability' Brown. Visitors can explore life as a servant at Berrington. The butler's pantry and bedroom tell the story of William Kemp, the butler. The corner bedroom and back stairs are brought to life with sounds and smells. The interiors include Biaggio Rebecca ceilings, fine period furniture and there are some pieces on display from the Wade Collection (on loan from Snowshill Manor). The house is surrounded by Capability Brown's final landscape. Events throughout the year please contact for details. Photo credit: front of Hall - Robert Morris.

About the area
Herefordshire is split in two by the River Wye which meanders through the county on its way to the Severn and the sea. Largely rural, with Hereford, Leominster, and Ross-on-Wye the major towns and cities, its countryside and ancient villages are the county’s major asset.
