This multi-award-winning zoo, built in 1972, houses over 1,000 animals within its 32 acres of landscaped gardens. There are lots of close encounters and animals in action, children's play areas, animal feeding times and keeper talks throughout the day. New animal attractions include Orangutan Outlook and Wolf Ridge. Many special events throughout the year.
